4 Tips to Make Your Wardrobe Breastfeeding Friendly

As a nursing mother myself, I found that at times getting dressed wasn’t as easy as it was before having a baby. I was putting on a cute outfit and ended up changing multiple times. I didn’t want to completely undress myself to nurse my little one. Nursing shouldn’t be a hassle. I also didn’t want to purchase twenty nursing tops either! I wanted to be able to wear my normal clothes and still make feedings as easy and smooth as possible.

Here are some tips that can help make things a little easier without having to buy a whole new wardrobe and nursing clothes.

4 Tips to Make your Wardrobe Breastfeeding Friendly:

  1. Button down shirts. They are stylist and easy to dress up or down. They can be worn on their own or layered. Nursing your baby will be easy on you just by a few buttons.
  2. Tank tops. Tank tops are in my opinion the easiest and quickest top for feedings. They can be layered so easily for all year around weather.
  3. Dresses. With warmer weather arriving, dresses can create a stress free morning of getting a ready. Off the shoulder,a maxi dress, or a loose button down dress are just a few to mention. You want to think comfortable and a laid back look.
  4. Flowy/loose fitting tops. These tops can bring easy privacy to you and your baby without the use of a nursing cover.

Nursing your little one should be a bonding experience, not a hassle. I hope these tips can help make choosing your outfit for the day a little easier without any stress. I would love to hear some of your own tips in the comments below! ❤
